Meet the Directors

Kathryn Williams.jpg

Hello, I'm Kath

I'm Dylan's Den's Chair and one of its founding Directors.  I think access to high quality childcare is important to the children and parents that need it as it is to the overall prosperity of the community.  I'm proud of our not-for-profit status and since 2008 Dylan's Den has supported hundreds of local people access work and training, confident that their children are having a brilliant time.  We set out to make Dylan's Den the place where children want to play and this idea guides us to this day

Hi, I'm Ben

I am one of the volunteer Directors at Dylan's Den. I worked for Dylan's Den for 5 years before qualifying to become a Primary School teacher. I am now a teacher at Treorchy Primary School. Dylan's Den played a huge part in my passion for working with children and I'm thankful for their support. Now, with more experience and knowledge, I want to give back to Dylan's Den and support them as much as I can!

Hello, I'm Kim

I'm one of the volunteer Directors at Dylan's Den. I have a background in design and worked at a children's charity in London for many years.

I grew up in the Rhondda and currently have a child using our childcare service. I am passionate about supporting Dylan's Den as it is a vital, local service that provides high quality childcare, and I know my little one is in safe hands with staff members that are dedicated and enthusiastic.

Hello, I'm Flo

I’m one of the volunteer Directors at Dylan’s Den. I grew up in the Rhondda Valleys and currently work locally in a healthcare setting where I have an interest in children’s health. I have many years experience in design and marketing and I hope that my skills will help Dylan’s Den thrive. It is vital that we have good quality, affordable childcare that can support families within our community.

Hello, I'm Emyr

I am delighted to have been asked to join the board at Dylan’s Den. I was born
in Llwynypia hospital and have lived most of my life within a mile of Dylan’s Den. I volunteer for
Friends of Treorchy Park and Rhondda Radio and have had close links to our local business
community for over 30 years. I will do all I can to support the great
staff at Dylan’s Den, helping them
continue this invaluable service for local families.
